We released version of 0.10 of the gem today with the following improvements:

Add option to ignore a specific action (docs)
Use Appsignal.monitor_transaction to instrument and log errors for custom actions
Removed ActiveSupport dependency
Use vendored notifications if ActiveSupport is not present
Update bundled CA certificates
Fix issue where backtrace can be nil
